EFT Tapping for Pain Relief
A 4-layer body-based approach for people with chronic pain who want long-term relief, not just temporary management.
Who this is for
- You have chronic or recurring pain: back, neck, joints, headaches, fibromyalgia, or unexplained bodily pain
- You have tried physiotherapy, massage, medication, or other treatments and got partial or temporary relief at best
- You suspect there is an emotional or stress component to your pain but haven't known how to work with it
- You want a drug-free, body-based approach that addresses root causes rather than suppressing symptoms
- You are open to the possibility that pain is often more than a purely physical phenomenon
What you will experience
- The 4-layer approach to pain: the physical, emotional, energetic, and belief layers
- "Chasing the pain": the most effective EFT technique for immediate pain relief
- How to identify the emotional patterns feeding chronic pain
- Chinese medicine pain theory: and how it gives you a map for where to focus
- A repeatable process you can use any time pain flares, not just during the class
The Chinese medicine angle
Chinese medicine has a precise understanding of pain: "Where there is free flow, there is no pain. Where there is no free flow, there is pain." Pain is fundamentally a sign of obstruction: of Qi, blood, or both, in a specific area or meridian.
The type of obstruction determines the character of the pain. Cold pain is typically fixed, severe, and relieved by warmth. Heat pain is burning and throbbing. Deficiency pain is dull and aches more with rest. Stagnation pain is distending and changes location.
In this class, Michael uses this TCM framework to help you identify what type of obstruction is most relevant to your pain, so the EFT tapping sequences can be targeted precisely rather than applied generically. This is what makes the approach significantly more effective than standard pain tapping protocols.
